The Sanken COS11-D HWM (Headworn Microphone) utilizes the Sanken COS11-D lavalier. The COS11-D microphone has become the most widely used lavalier for television media broadcast and film production. Sanken has chosen a double ear attachment for the HWM to enhance stability in a variety of situations and the microphone position can be changed to operate on either the left or right side.
*RM denotes a “Red Mark” model. The Red Mark models have a reduced sensitivity compared to the non-RM models . This makes them ideal for use in high transient (excessive signal peaking) environments without associated noise and peak distortion
